Deanna Schmidt

Deanna Mae Schmidt, 71, of Lonoke passed away Monday, April 9, 2012. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and retired from Remington Arms. She enjoyed horses and cats, especially her pet cat, "Fuzzy." She is survived by her husband, Roger Schmidt, of Lonoke; daughter, Dawn Renee McElderry, of Sherwood; two grandchildren, Misti Dawn Polono, of Hardy and Jared Kyle McElderry, of Maryland; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Alan McElderry and Mason Kyle McElderry; and her sister, Patricia Utley, of Hardy. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alma Summers Cole; son, Kenneth Dewayne Cross; and her grandson, Dustin Shawn McElderry. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday at Bethany Baptist Church, 308 Eureka Gardens Road, North Little Rock. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
