Donna Louise (Andrews) Rabb

Donna Louise (Andrews) Rabb, 89, of Hagerstown, Maryland, and formerly of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, April 9, 2012 at the Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown. Born on October 12, 1922 in Kinmundy, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Bertha E. (Morris) Andrews. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Lester R. Rabb on November 4, 2010. She was of the Protestant faith. In Donna's early working career, she worked for 17 years as an Executive Assistant for Bruning Company in Chicago, Illinois. After the birth of her son, Jan, Donna became a homemaker. Donna was a very active volunteer in the Little Rock, Arkansas area for many years. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi; Laureate Alpha Chapter and the Salvation Army all of Little Rock. She was also involved with numerous other organizations as well. Donna is survived by her son, Jan R. Rabb and his wife, Mary Hoffman of Hagerstown; a step-daughter, Karen S. Rabb and her husband Karl of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area; two half-sisters, Jean Donlan and Janice Thomas; three grandchildren by marriage, Travis, Justin, and Ashleigh Hoffman; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Andrews. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
