J.L. Sandine

J.L. Sandine, age, 77 of the Herbine Community, died Sunday, April 8, 2012. He was born April 3, 1935 in Cleveland County, a son of the late Johnnie Carl and Flora Mabel Rauls Sandine. Mr. Sandine retired from the Arkansas Forestry Commission where he was a Forest Ranger and was a Baptist. He was a member of the Sandine Hunting Club. Mr. Sandine was also preceded in death by two brothers, William "Dude" Sandine, Charles "Tommy" Sandine; niece, Stella Jeanette Gray. Mr. Sandine is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Teresa Sandine of Herbine, Chris and Julie Sandine of Rowell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tressia and Roger Donaldson, Cindy and Jack Bennett, all of Wilmar; two sisters, Macel Linzey of New Edinburg, Peggy Cullipher Mahurin of Texarkana, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Rodney, Dennia, John, Shannon, Jayson, Peyton, Dodge, Emily, and a grandson due in July; five great grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden, Caralyne, Sadie and Charlotte; a special friend, Robbie Mann of Monticello. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home with Brother Doney Blackerby officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home. Pallbearers are nephews, Kent Cullipher, Jimmy Cullipher, Mark Sandine, Keith Sandine, Ronnie Sandine and Randy Linzey. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Kimbrell, Grady Kimbrell, D.H.
