Lettie Ruth Nelson

Lettie R. Nelson of Little Rock, Ark., was born on December 31, 2012 to Ms. Essie Harris. She departed this life on April 5, 2012. She was preceded in death by her mother, Essie Harris. She's survived by her four children: Marcellus Nelson, Patricia Wade, Stanley Nelson and Deborah Payne; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of other loving relatives and special friends. Ms. Nelson was employed by the Little Rock School District for 33 years. She taught Spanish/English at Horace Mann School. He was a member of the Teachers Association. She was a graduate of Spellman College and an avid world traveler. She leaves behind a host of relatives and friends. A Home going celebration will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012, 11 a.m., at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 2501 Main St. Little Rock, Ark.
