Dorothy Evelyn Marchese

Dorothy Evelyn Marchese, 86, of North Little Rock, went to be with Jesus Wednesday, August 1, 2012. She was born April 24, 1926 in Wattensaw, Arkansas to the late Johnny and Sallie Corpier Tippitt. She was a member of Park Hill Christian Church for 58 years and work for Allied Telephone Company for 20 years and also worked for 3 M Company, while running their own company Marchese Rentals. Dorothy enjoyed square dancing and traveling. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joseph Marchese; sons, Dr. Eric Fraser and Jeanneane of Maumelle, Ted Hofmeister and Tonia of Bryant, Larry Marchese and Erika of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and James Marchese and Erin of Little Rock; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to Park Hill Christian Church, 4400 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at Park Hill Christian Church. There will be a private burial in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Church.
