John O. Smith

John O. Smith, 80, of Broaddus, Texas, formerly of Bald Knob, Arkansas passed away Wednesday August 1, 2012 at White County Medical Center. He was born February 24, 1932 in Scott, Arkansas to the late William Hankly Smith and Cora Odle Smith. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers and one son, Pat. Survivors include his wife of 61 years Peggy Joyce Smith of Bald Knob, Arkansas; four sons Mike Smith of Dolthan, Alabama, Kerry (Tammy) Smith of Searcy, Arkansas, Kevin (Gracie) Smith of Delight, Arkansas, Steven Smith of Bald Knob, Arkansas; one daughter Kathy Smith Wallace of Bald Knob, Arkansas; one sister, Leoda Smith Nelson of Little Rock, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
