Margaret Elizabeth Smith

MARGARET ELIZABETH SMITH, of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord at the age of 82 years on Aug. 3, 2012 at Baptist Health Medical Center. She was born May 19, 1930 in Macon, Ga. to the late Charles Edwards and Pearl Chapman Edwards. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James E. Smith; three sisters; one brother; two daughter-in-laws and one great-grandchild. Surviving loving family are daughters, Joni Hogue (Stephen), Patsy Kindred (Mike); sons, Joseph Miller, Jimmy Miller, David Miller and Allen Smith (Liz); six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jackie Spann (Howard). She was a long-time member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church. Our family would like to express our appreciation to the staff of Briarwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the excellent care our much loved mother received from them.
