Odell Campbell Gray

Odell Campbell Gray, 88, of White Hall died at home Friday, Aug. 3, 2012. Born in McCrory, Ark. on Nov. 3, 1923, a daughter of the late Jim and Bessie Walls Campbell, she was a resident of White Hall since 1973. She married Thomas H. Gray on June 30, 1972. Mr. Gray died March 12, 1995. Mrs. Gray worked as a fletcher at Ben Pearson, Inc. for 15 years. She and Mr. Gray operated Discounter Grocery in White Hall for many years. Her survivors include two sons, Larry Gibson of White Hall, Paul Ball (Peggy) of Baytown, Texas; a daughter, Scarlette Hatcher (Benny) of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Gene Sellers, Greg Gibson, Diona Davis, Derrick Ball, Brandy Ball, Zack Wilkinson; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Nathan Campbell of Perryville, Ark. She was also preceded in death by one brother, J. D. Campbell; and three sisters, L. E. Morrow, Mary Ply and Edith Clark. Services are Monday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son.
