Elese Sweatman Rogers

Elese Sweatman Rogers, 89, of Camden, Ark. passed away at home, Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012. She was born in Chidester, Ark. on Feb. 23, 1923. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she participated in the choir, Yesterday's Youth, The Living Christmas Tree and many other activities. She was a very active senior who enjoyed cooking, quilting, and most of all, helping others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mathew and Edna Sweatman; her husband, J.W. Rogers; her son, William Larry Rogers and his wife Teresa Lynn Rogers. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Ann Rogers of Camden; her grandson, Mathew Osborn Rogers of Little Rock; his wife, Payton Collins Rogers and great grandson, Jack Collins Rogers of Little Rock. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 3-5 at Proctor Funeral Home.
