D.A. "DILLARD" CRAIN, age 89, of North Little Rock, passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012. He was born Sept. 2, 1922 in Hollis, Ark., a son of Hobert and Beulah Mae Murphy Crain. He was a WWII Army veteran, retired from the V.A. Hospital-Fort Roots, and of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include his daughters, Wanda Jean Mobley (John) of Little Rock, Carol Parks (Tom) of North Little Rock; brothers, J.B. Crain (Joyce) of Hollis, Elwanda Graves (Elmer) and special friend, Wanda McCall of Cabot; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and four step-great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Crain; son, Wayne Crain; five brothers; one sister; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice and Dr. Greg Henson for their care and dedication. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Hollis Pentecostal Church with James Nowlin officiating. Burial will be at Goats Bluff Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
