Robert Louis Morris

Robert Louis Morris, age 88, of Lewisville, Ark. passed away peacefully at his home in Lewisville Friday, Aug. 10, 2012. Mr. Morris was born May 29,1924 to John William and Lillian Bacchus Morris in Lewisville, Ark. Mr. Morris was a life long member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Lewisville, Ark. He was a Ripley Shirt Salesman for 40 years, Owner of Morris Car Wash for 46 Years, a Mason, and a WWII Veteran Serving in Pacific Theater. Mr. Morris was a retired Rual Letter Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Louis "Bobby" Morris Jr.; two brothers and four sisters. Mr. Morris is survived by his Loving wife of 69 years, Ina Lee "Jacque" Reid Morris of Lewisville, Ark.; daughter, Suzanne and husband Walter Kahanek of Texarkana, Texas; grandchildren, Jared Kahanek of Montana and Jessica Kahanek of Washington, D.C.; seven nephews and six nieces. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at the 1st United Methodist church in Lewisville, Ark. with Rev. Ron Eldridge officiating with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery in Lewisville, Ark. under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, Ark. Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps. Memorials may be made to the 1st United Methodist Church in Lewisville, Ark. The family would like to express gratitude to Robert's Nephew Frank and Ann Wells for their loving support.
