Gladys Ruth Halpayne Cox

Gladys Ruth Halpayne Cox, age 92, of Benton passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 in Benton. She was born November 17, 1919 in Benton, Arkansas. Gladys worked at Reynolds Metals Co. and was a Bookkeeper and Secretary for the State of Arkansas. Gladys was a member of Northside Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joel J. Cox, brothers, Luke and G. W. Halpayne, sister, Martha Lee Robertson. Glayds was a very loving and generous person, living her life to the fullest fellowshiping with her many friends. Her faith and church family were the foundation of her life. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew her. Survivors, sister, Anita Jones, Benton; niece, Linda Wise, Benton; nephew, Jerry Jones, Benton.
