Meriman Lee Ables

Meriman Lee Ables, 70, of Hampton, died Tuesday August 14, 2012. He was born January 14, 1942 in Calhoun County to the late Ira Lee and Annie Holmes Ables. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma Ables and cousin Earl Ables. He is survived by his Aunt Hazel Lucas of Hampton; cousins John Ables, Janette Williams, Murl Ables, Charlotte Dorey, all of Hampton; Shirley Cook and Jerry Ables both of Camden; Doris Saver of Miami, Florida, Kathy Torre of White Hall, Donnie Lucas and Betty Roetzel both of Hampton; Terry Lanni of White Hall, Verna Mae Wooten-Buzbee of Hampton, and Mary Ann Smith of Little Rock. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Thursday at Campground Cemetery.
