Teddy Semingson returned home on August 9, 2012. She was born May 2, 1943 in North Little Rock and spent her career as an educator. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jim Semingson; son and daughter-in-law, Judd and Ashley Semingson of Springdale, Ark.; daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Vitaliy Dymna of Cabot, Ark.; sisters, Pat Douglas and Debbie Jamerson; and, grandsons Jackson and Hudson Semingson. She's preceeded in death by her father, Thomas Blakeney; mother, Ruby Clark; and sister, Judy Blakeney. Beautiful and gracious, Teddy's greatest joy was to be with family and friends. She relished spending time together and anticipated her travels to the beach. You could always find Teddy in her well-groomed yard, an example of how Teddy worked to beautify her home and surroundings. Teddy's warm smile and empathic heart made her a trusted confidante to many. She fought the good fight against pulmonary fibrosis but succumbed to the effects of the disease. Our family is eternally grateful to the Duke University Pulmonary Transplant team and hospital medical staff who worked so diligently on her behalf. Memorial service will be at Fellowship North, North Little Rock, Ark. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
