Betty Gene Norman, 57, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012. She was born November 7, 1954 in Pulaski County, to the late Oather and Ruby Price Henry. Betty worked as an automotive parts specialist for many years. She was an avid collector of elephants and Barbie dolls and loved going to the casino. She enjoyed anything outdoors including, fishing, animals and flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Fayrean Patrick. Betty is survived by her husband Ray Norman of Cabot; three step-daughters, Pat Taylor Oakley and her husband, David of Jacksonville, Teresa Taylor of Jacksonville and Tammy Norman Barnard of Cabot; two sisters, Judy Markham and her husband, John of Shannon Hills, and Mary Baggett of Cabot; two brothers, Bobby Henry and his wife, Freda of Cabot, and Frankie Henry and his wife, Bonnie of Oak Grove; two step-grandsons, six step-granddaughters; two step-great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Saturday, August 18, 2012 in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Alan Cook officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
