Brother Clarence "Micky" William Anderson, 63, of Little Rock went home to be with the Lord on Friday August 17, 2012 at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock. He was a 1967 graduate of Scipio A. Jones High School. He received his B.A. degree from Philander Smith College in 1983. He also served in the U.S. Army receiving an Honorable Discharge. He retired from the US Postal Service after more than 20 years as a dedicated employee. One son, Miklos Anderson and mother, Minnie Anderson preceded him in death. Survivors are his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Ella Carlock Anderson; one son, Derrick Anderson; father, Rev. John H. Anderson; two brothers: Calvin Anderson (Loistene), and Lee Vom (Mary) Anderson; three sisters: Shirley Brewer, Etta Vom Anderson and Minnie Anderson; four grandsons, Kristopher Pettus, Tavius Anderson, Ramon Anderson and M. Donovan Anderson; one good friend, Marshell Miller; one longtime army buddy, Walter Williams of Detroit, Michigan; special brother and sister-in-law, Allan and Erma Bayley; one special niece, Manessa Johnson and many other nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Friday August 24, 2012, 6-7 p.m. at Robinson Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 12 noon at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 1723 W. 44th St., NLR, (501) 758-4651, Pastor Edward Lairry, officiating. Interment Services with Military Honors will be Monday, August 27, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans.
