Geneva "Nanner" Edmondson, 94, of Lonoke went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2012. She was born on October 26, 1917 at Hamilton, Arkansas. She was retired from First State Bank. She then worked as a Wal-Mart door greeter for 14 years. She was a member of Hebron Methodist Church. She was famous for all the jokes she shared and her homemade pies. She enjoyed making children smile by making rounds throughout Lonoke playing Santa. She enjoyed dressing up at Halloween and would sit outside and treat the children. Preceding her in death was her husband Glyn, parents Elmo and Addie Plummer, and brothers, Otis and Charlie Plummer, and one granddaughter. Survivors include a daughter, Glenna Sue (Bobby) Parks, a son, Larry (Sarah) Edmondson, both of Lonoke and a son, Curtis (Pat) Edmondson of Conway, eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. Funeral Services will be held on February 14, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke with visitation one hour before services. Interment will be in Carlisle Cemetery. The family would like to thank Golden Years Manor for the love and care, especially the south hall CNA's.
