James "Jim" Pierce Blackstone

James "Jim" Pierce Blackstone, 76, of Spring, Texas, died February 10, 2012. Jim was born May 13, 1935 in Frederick, Okla. He earned Bachelors and Masters degrees from Texas A&M University, where he was a proud member of the Corps. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Lucy Ann O'Bannon Blackstone. Jim is survived by his children Amy Singer (Ken), Kathy Kamrath (Tim), Beth Wiehe (Don), and Andrew (Norma) and grandchildren Megan Edwards (Joseph), Caitlin Kamrath, David Singer, Michael Singer, and Morgan Wiehe, Heather Dorrance, John Finch, and great-grandchildren Shaila, Morris, Maurice, Zoe, and great-great-grandson Adrian. The family had received friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, February 13 at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main Street, Tomball Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 14 at Klein Memorial Park, FM 2920. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
