Elizabeth "Liz" Miller Jones, 52, of Little Rock, died peacefully in her sleep on February 26, 2012. One of God's angels on earth, Liz was a loving mother and a devoted nurse. She spent her nursing career at ACH, where she began in 1982. She was a specialty RN in the Sleep Disorders Center. Liz will be remembered by her family, friends, colleagues, and patients at ACH. All are richer for knowing her. Although plagued with numerous health challenges, Liz always had a smile on her face. She received great comfort from Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She loved nature and enjoyed taking photographs. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Rickey, her daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Logan Parsons, her son, Adam, her mother, Rose Marie Miller, her sisters, Cindy Stabnick and Margaret McGinness, her brothers, Henry Michael, Robert and Stephen Miller, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and pets. Visitation will be Thursday, March 1, from 6 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at Holy Souls Church. A Mass will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Holy Souls Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Liz's name can be made to ACH or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
