Martha A. Starkey

Martha A. Starkey, 82, of Conway, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012. She was born on Monday, Feb. 17, 1930 in North Little Rock to the late Jesse A. and Mary J. (Tatum) Milam. Mrs. Starkey was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a beautician and homemaker. She was member of Grace Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Richard Meriweather (Ruby) and David Starkey (Sherry); her daughters, Patricia Smith and Maryjane Hawley (Michael); eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and a host of family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, John Leroy Meriweather and T. Hulen Starkey; and six siblings. Services will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, June 6 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway with Dr. Michael Hawley and Brother Eddie Flowers officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Conway with James Meriweather, John Meriweather, Jeff Meriweather, Shane Starkey, Trey Starkey, and Jonathan Hawley serving as pallbearers.
