Louis Calvin Wilson, age 74, passed away on June 1, 2012. Louie was born in Arkansas, but grew up and was schooled in Missouri. He was a member of Sikeston, Missouri's Class of '55. After his service in the US Navy and his lifelong career with McKesson-Robbins Wholesale Drug Co., he retired in 1993. Louie had an endless dry wit and maintained his sense of humor to the end. He was a man of strong moral character, selfless, and always put his Lord and family first. He loved being on the golf couse, happiest when his home was filled with family and friends. He brought love and joy to many lives whether a relative, a close friend or a mere acquaintance. He always smiled and was 'the sunniest guy in town.' He is survived by his wife of nearly 48 years, Beni, his daughters, Dana Rae Hobby (Phillip), Leslie Beth Clifton, his son, C. Hays Wilson; Grandchildren, Luke, Melanie and Amanda Belflower, Louis and Alex Clifton, and a great grandson, Jack. He also leaves a brother, a brother in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and four sisters-in-law. Last but not least, he will be missed by his beloved pets, Sabine, Soames and Stanley. He was preceded in death by his sister and parents. The family would like to thank the numerous friends who called and stopped by to visit with Louie during his brief illness for their outpouring of love. He was a practical man and would NOT want flowers, but donations in his honor for Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital, Humane Society and American Cancer Society would be welcome. Memorial services will be private. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
