Bobbie Jean Sowell, 80 of Conway passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012. She was born November 14, 1931 in Hazel, Oklahoma to the late Albert Deeter and Ethel Huggins Deeter. She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Pat Sowell, two daughters, Mary Aldridge (Phillip) of Conway and Kay Ford (Ron) of Louisville, Ky., two sons, David Sowell (Gail) of Canton, Georgia and Mark Sowell (Dena) of Sherwood, two sisters, Nina Ellis of Kerrville, Texas and Dorothy Fox of Rockwall, Texas, one brother, Al Deeter of Conway, seven grandchildren, Jeff Sowell, Jeremy Ford, Nathan Ford, David Lee, Casey Sowell, Ashley Smith, and Josh Aldridge, fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Vera Standifer and great grandson, Shawn Phillip Smith. Services are 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Second Baptist Church of Conway with Dr. Mark Dance officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Crestlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church or the chairty of donor's choice. Pallbearers are Jeff Sowell, Casey Sowell, Josh Aldridge, Brian Smith, Nathan Ford and Jeremy Ford. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Janice Graddy Sunday School Class.
