Joann "Jody" Bryles

Joann (Jody) Bryles was born February 5, 1938 in Rogers and lived her entire life in Garfield and Rogers, graduating from Rogers High School. Jody passed away June 14, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Agnes Pitts, six brothers and sisters, and husband, H.L. Bryles. She is survived by her children, Leslie and Jack Truemper, David Bryles, and grandchildren, John Truemper, Leigh Truemper, Kathryn Bryles and Sara Bryles all of Little Rock. Jody was a member of the First Christian Church of Rogers and the P.E.O. She enjoyed her many friends through Bridge Clubs and all her customers while working in banking in Rogers. The family sincerely appreciates the love and care of Jody's caregivers, Marianne McCue and Lee Jacobs, her Dogwood Street neighbors, family and friends. A visitation will be held Friday, June 22, 2012 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers from 3 to 5 p.m. followed by a graveside service at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Brenda Pitts Jennings Endowment for Women's Athletics, Missouri Southern Athletics, 3950 East Newman Road, Joplin, Mo. 64801 or the charitable foundation of your choice.
