David Harlan Hill of Ovilla, Texas, passed away June 14, after a lengthy illness, at home, surrounded by family and friends. He was born May 31, 1953 to Dr. Harlan Henry and Mary Elizabeth Davis Hill, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by wife Janis Elayne Tucker Hill, of Ovilla; children, Mallory and Martha, of Ovilla; Dorothy and son-in-law, Jeffrey Luna, and grandchildren Nathaniel and Noah Luna, of Raleigh-Durham, N.C. ; brothers, George, Perry and Mark Hill, of Little Rock, Ark.; brother-in-law, Jack Tucker (Bobbie) and their daughter, Elizabeth, of Little Rock, Ark.; brother-in-law, Robert Tucker, of Pine Bluff, Ark.; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Tucker, of Hot Springs, Ark. David grew up in Little Rock, Ark. and graduated from Columbia Military Academy in Tennessee. He attended the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. David and his wife owned and operated Interior Reflections in DeSoto, Texas for the past 27 years. There will be a memorial service Saturday, June 23, 3 p.m. at Boze Mitchell Mc Kibbin Funeral Home, 511 W. Main St., Waxahachie, Texas 75156, 972-937-2211. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. at the home of Rene and Anita Naranjo, 1700 S. Duncanville Rd., Cedar Hill, Texas 75104, 469-339-4065.
