Odie Beene, 52, of Little Rock, departed this life June 16, 2012. Preceded in death by his father, Odie Beene Sr.; mother, Ophline Dorrough Beene; brothers, Tony and Terry Beene. He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Edith Redmon Beene; children, Lacynda Tackwood and Maria' Austin; siblings, Becky Smith of Memphis, Tenn., Barbara Beene of Reno, Nev.; a host of other family and friends.
