Col. William Frank Corroum, retired U.S. Air Force, 74, of Jacksonville, born October 7, 1937 in Reisterstown, Maryland to father, William Wilson Corroum and mother, Lillian Savage, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012. He was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church. He was also a member of the Jacksonville Lion's Club, MOAA, Daedalions, USNA Alumni Association, SMART, USNA RV Chapter and MONACO International. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Lillian Corroum. William is survived by his wife, Kathryn Corroum, and his children, Kathryn (Kit) Lumpkin and Thomas Corroum. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Eckert (Ed) and two grandchildren. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012, at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 2413 Northeastern in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012, at St. Stephens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Stephens Episcopal Church or Lion's World Services for the Blind.
