Robert "Bob" Edwards

ROBERT "BOB" EDWARDS, age 79, of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord Friday, June 22, 2012. He was born April 3, 1933 in Vanduser, Mo. to the late Robert H. Edwards and Essie M. Edwards. He was a retired United States Air Force Veteran who served his country for 20 years, he also retired as a Representative and Counselor for the Arkansas Department of Veteran Affairs. Mr. Edwards was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Jacksonville. Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Glendola Wooldridge Edwards; his children, Sammy (Alice) Justus, Charlaine (J.R.) Hurt, Johnette (Carl) Hunter, Misty (Joe) Stanley; siblings, J.W. Edwards, Lionel Edwards, Wilma Hahs, Dorothy Hamada; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Arkansas Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
