Sylvia Glover Rivenburg

Sylvia Glover Rivenberg, 94, of Sheridan, Ark. was born in Lonoke County, Ark. on April 25, 1918 and died in Grant County, Ark. on June 21, 2012. She spent over 52 years of her life in Hop Bottom, Pa. Most recently "Aunt Sis" resided at Crown Point Assisted Living and Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center in Sheridan. She was married to Russell Rivenburg after meeting him during World War II when he was stationed in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Together they owned and operated Rivenburg Investments. Although they had no children, their pets were always treated as such and brought them immense joy. Mrs. Rivenburg is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Rivenburg, parents, Lewis M. And Francis Glover, two brothers, William "Bill" and Carl Glover, and a sister, Dorothy Lee Glover. She is survived by two nephews, Larry and Ronnie Glover, and one niece, Patricia Ann Moore and their families. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Crown Point Assisted Living Center and Sheridan Health & Rehab for their love and care during her time there. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot, Ark. Memorials may be made to any Humane Society in her name.
