Venvela Christian Ranney

VENVELA CHRISTIAN RANNEY, age 87, of North Little Rock passed away June 20, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry A "Boots" Ranney; her parents, Worthen and Vela Christian and two brothers, Raymond and Billy Christian. She retired from Southwestern Bell after 40 years of service. After retirement, she worked for Riley South Nursing Home and Woodland Heights Retirement Center. Venvela is survived by her loving son, Dr. Larry Ranney and his wife, Kathy of North Little Rock and Kathy's two children, Andrew and Brian Cox. She will be missed greatly by her animal companions Molly, Samantha, and Gracie. Graveside service will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander on Tuesday, June 26 at 10 a.m. conducted by Father Frank DuPreez.
