Mrs. Annie "Louise" Page Walthall, 89, of Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, February 29, 2012. She was born in 1922, the daughter of James Richmond and May Turner Page, in Old Washington, Arkansas. There she attended the Presbyterian Church from early childhood and graduated from Washington High School. At the age of 17, she left Old Washington to work in Little Rock for the Arkansas Worker's Compensation Commission during its startup. She was a resident of Little Rock for 72 years. Her loving husband, Other Clinton "Johnny" Walthall preceded her in death. Their marriage spanning six decades resulted in a large, close Christian family. They were long-time members of Pulaski Heights Presbyterian Church. Louise is survived by her five children; sons, John Page Walthall of Maumelle, Arkansas, Robert Lee Walthall and Cheri of Scott, Arkansas, daughters; Annie Louise "Ann" Orsini-Vaughn of Naples, Florida, Janis Kay Baldwin and Phillip of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Mary Alice Mills and Jim of Maumelle, Arkansas; two sisters, Sarah Alice Page Settlemyer and Elizabeth Page Warner and Richard of Dallas, Texas; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mrs. Walthall will be 3 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the Presbyterian Church in Old Washington, Arkansas. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas. Mr. Curtis Thomas will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope, Arkansas.
