Dorothy Addie Harden, born December 22, 1916 to Tom and Erie Taylor Hankins, departed this life on February 29, 2012 after enjoying an active, lengthy life. She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Harden; a son, Bobby Harden; a daughter, Peggy Crenshaw; a granddaughter, Jennifer Bozeman; parents and siblings. Dorothy will be deeply missed by her remaining family members and will be well remembered as a wonderful cook; for her endless stamina and hospitality and for her deep love for her children. She was an accomplished seamstress and gardener and loved the beauty of nature. She was a member of the Levy Church of Christ. The family is grateful to the Sherwood Nursing Home facility and the caring staff for all the kindnesses shown. We appreciate the good care, love and support of Odyssey Hospice, and especially commend her church family for the endless visits and love. Dorothy is survived by daughters, Fern Vaughn of Nashville, Tennessee, Arleen (Bill) Bozeman of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Donna (Lynn) Bradford of Franklin, Tennessee, Lynette (Clifton) Gilliam of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Marjorie (Tommie) Williams of North Little Rock, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Eva Harden of Nashville, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Greg Harden, Kevin Harden, Todd Gilliam, Randy Williams, Eric Bradford, Justin Bradford, Tyler Bradford, Willard Crenshaw III, and Dennis Crenshaw. Honorary pallbearers are sons-in-law, Bill Bozeman, Lynn Bradford, Clif Gilliam and Tommie Williams. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 JFK Blvd., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116 (501) 791-7400.
