Margie Valree Sowell, 91, of Cabot, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 14, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born February 15, 1921 in Vilonia, Arkansas to the late Arthur and Alma Morgan Summers. The oldest member of the Cabot Church of Christ, she loved God, her family, church family and friends. She would often make the statement, "God is so good to me." She loved living at Southridge Village Assisted Living in Cabot, and her nurses Janelle, Penney and the CNAs who provided excellent care and demonstrated their love to her daily. She retired from Westinghouse Electric in 1980, after 30 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother. She is survived by her two daughters, Ginger and her husband, Gary Wimberly of Mabelvale, Arkansas, and Gail and her husband, Forrest Ferguson of Brentwood, Tennessee; one brother, John L. Summers of York, Nebraska; two grandsons, Michael Hendrixson of Little Rock and Mark Hendrixson of Conway; three great-grandchildren, Cole, Faith and Luke Hendrixson; step-granddaughters, Michelle and her husband, John Truett and Cindy Pinson of Maumelle, and five step-great-grandchildren, Tanner and Conner Pinson and Austin, Dillon and Jaden Truett. She will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Graveside services are 10 a.m., Friday, May 18 at Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville, for friends and family, with Brother Bruce Green and Brother Chuck Ball officiating.
