Owen Branch, 75, of Greenbrier, passed away, Sunday, September 30, 2012 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He and his twin brother Doyne (deceased 2006) was born on Wednesday, June 9, 1937 in Lonoke County to the late Isaac and Mae (Fisher) Branch. He was a member of Bono Baptist Church and the Eastfork Masonic Lodge. He worked for Nabholz Construction for 38 years. He was a avid gardener, hunter and fisherman. Owen is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dean (Vickery) Branch; son, Tim Branch (Diana) of Russellville; three daughters, Melinda Powell of Greenbrier, Jeanette Branch of Conway and Cynthia Foiles of Cabot; eight grandchildren, Vickey Chesley (Robert), Miranda Sullivan (Kerry), Matthew Havens, Quincey Powell, Lakyn Chong (Steven), Mika Havens (Calvin), Zane Spear, and Ashley Branch; five great-grandchildren, Dakota Hussman, Owen and Kane Sullivan, Elijah Chong and Cheyenne Fulmer; and a special nephew, Michael Vickery. He is preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, a brother and his twin brother, Doyne, and a grandson, Beau Branch. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Bono Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Bro. Marty Sikes officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
