Geneva McClain

Geneva McClain, 80, of Alexander passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012. She was born to Jesse Albert and Ora Lee Henson on June 9, 1932. Geneva loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook, a few of her family's favorites were her fried chicken and biscuits. Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers and her husband of 60 years, Orbra Vernon McClain. She is survived by five children; Brad (Samantha) McClain, Stanley McClain, Glenda (Dale) Higgs, Louise (Robbie) Harris, Damita (Greg) Ward, 14 grandchildren and 13 great-children. The family will receive visitors Thursday evening for 6-8 p.m. at Griffin Legget Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 N., Alexander, Arkansas. Funeral services will be Friday, October 12, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the chapel with burial at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. The family would like to thank Hospice Home Care and the 7th floor staff at Baptist Hospital for the wonderful care they gave Mrs. McClain.
