Rudolph W. "Rudy" Ballheimer, 83, of Conway passed away Tuesday October 9, 2012. He was born July 30, 1929 to Rudolph Sr. and Florence (Todd) Ballheimer at St. Louis, Mo. He was a graduate of Hadley Technical High School in St. Louis. He was united in marriage to Bernice Jacobs on September 9, 1950 at St. Louis. He was a master machinist, who worked as plant superintendent at FMC for 45 years. Rudy also enjoyed woodworking, golfing, following the stock market and watching sports. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4143, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Conway Two-Steppers and UCA's Purple Circle. He is survived by his wife, Bernice; children, Dan (Karen) Ballheimer, Debbie (Jimmy) Threet, Tom (Karen) Ballheimer and Mark (Robin) Ballheimer; grandchildren, Tricia (Beau) Beavers, Tara Ballheimer, Jason Spears, Emily (Allan) Duncan, Jennifer Threet, Jennifer Ballheimer,, Justin Ballheimer, Daniel Brewer, Rachel Brewer and Sarah Ballheimer; six great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Sally) Ballheimer; and sister, Jackie Fogarty. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Kenny Ballheimer, granddaughter, Diana Ballheimer and a brother-in-law Eugene Fogarty. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m., Saturday October 13 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Conway with Fr. Joseph Archibong as celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Memorials have been suggested to St. Joseph's Endowment Fund.
