William E. "Bubba" Jones Jr.

William E. Jones Jr. (Bubba), 53, of Prairie Grove, formerly of Pine Bluff, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, surrounded by his family. He was born February 28, 1959 in Pine Bluff, to the late William E. Jones, Sr. and the late Elfreda Ward Jones. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law and best friend, Joe Eddie Jacobs. He was employed at Altheimer Oil Company from 1977 through 2002. Bubba is lovingly remembered by his two sons, William E. Jones, III, (Trey) of Jonesboro, Bo Jones of Star City; one daughter, Taylor Jones of Jonesboro; one granddaughter, Chandler Jones; one grandson, Alden Earls; three sisters, Tammie Wilson (Tommy) of Hot Springs, Melanie Capps of Hot Springs, and Ginger Tapley (Kyle) of Dallas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He loved the outdoors and any type of hunting and fishing. He also was an avid Razorback fan! Bubba had a heart of gold and would do anything for his family and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 23, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Ralph Robinson and Son, 807 Cherry Street, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. A life celebration service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Dr. Bob Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
