James Daniel Watson Sr.

James Daniel Watson Sr., age 82, of Arkadelphia died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012. He was born Oct. 8, 1930 in Mauldin, Ark. the son of Harvey and Emma Loy Watson. Dan was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Mark Watson; three brothers, Randal, Ralph and Darrel Watson; and one sister, Mary Shuffield. Survivors are his wife of sixty years, Linda Watson; one son, Danny (Sandra) Watson of Arkadelphia; two daughters, Debbie (Wayne) Page of Arkadelphia, Joyce (Ron) Arnold of Longview, Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one sister, Myrtie Nahas of Hot Springs. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Dr. Lee McGlone officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
