Roger Vancle Smith

Mr. Roger Vancle Smith, 86, of Clinton, Ark. went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 25, 2013. He was born July 11, 1926 in Clinton, Ark. to the late Jesse Tildon and Sarah Aurelia (Chastain) Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue (Pryor) Smith; parents; three brothers, Allen, Hazel and Wendell; sister, Beulah; granddaughter, Rachael Denise Loven; step-grandson, Justin Cargile. He is survived by his wife, Nettie Smith, Dick (Debbie) Smith, Sally (Dennis) Loven; three grandsons, Cale (Autumn) Smith, Dustin (Carol) Smith and Dylan Loven; two granddaughters, Kristy Jo Smith, Janna (Mike) Ubelhor; five great-grandchildren, Kimberly and Amica Smith, Kyiwann Smith, Brennan Robertson and Austin Ubelhor; three step-grandchildren, Martina, Mat (Casey), Katrina Timmons; two step-grandchildren, W.L. (Juile), Barry (Sandy) Cargile; five step-grandchildren, Billy (Rhonda), Weston, Brian, Tracey (Mechele) and Ashley Cargile; 12 step-great-grandchildren, Kiera Timmons, Wendy, Waylon, Carly, Brooklyn, Brittany, Taylor, Ali, Catie, Madie Cargile, Derek and Kelsey Payne and many friends. Pallbearers: Jerry Cullum, Cale Smith, Dustin Smith, Dylan Loven, Kelvin Smith, and Richard McCormac. Honorary pallbearers: Doyne Ward Sunday School Class Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Ark. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at First Baptist Church Clinton, Ark. with Pastor Jim Edwards officiating. Burial with U.S. Army Military Honors will follow at Huie Cemetery.
