Dorothy Lipscomb Starkey

Dorothy Lipscomb Starkey, 85, of Conway, died Thursday, January 31, 2013. She was born Saturday, August 13, 1927 in Conway to the late Robert Loy and Bertha Josephine Lorenze Lipscomb. She was an insurance agent for Farris Agency in Conway for 29 years, she loved the game of Bridge and was a member of First Baptist Church in Conway. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Deal "Jack" Starkey; sons, Joe Deal Starkey, Jr. and Roger Neil Starkey; and brothers, Ben and Joe Lipscomb. She is survived by a daughter, Sharion Starkey Carter of Conway; grandchildren, Tish Carter and Carson Carter both of Conway and Jacquelyn and husband Michael King of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Cameron Hall and husband Jason Hall of Guy, Talon Sellers and Jenna Sellers both of Conway; great-great-grandchild, Alyster Hall of Guy. Visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2013, 4-6 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway (501) 327-7727. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Susan Carter Wiggins officiating.
