John Andrew Byrd

John Andrew "Andy" Byrd, age 56, of Morrilton, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013. He was born February 21, 1956 in Morrilton, Arkansas, a son of W.O. Byrd and Bobbye Ruth "Nisler" Byrd. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and attended the Conway County Center for Exceptional Children in Morrilton. He is survived by his mother, Bobbye Byrd of Morrilton; sister, Martha Frits (Drew) of Conway; nieces, Lucinda Dorminy (Sean) of Dallas, Texas and Christy Norwood (Brad) of Springdale; nephews, Rob Frits (Laney) of Springdale; and Andrew Frits of Tuscan, Arizona; special friend Ruby Lafayette of Morrilton; eight great-nieces and nephews; caregivers, Yvette Thuston, Linda Clay, Ada McCray, Amber Trezvant and Jodi Bowling. He was preceded in death by his father, W.O. Byrd. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, February 7th at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Todd Paul Taulbee officiating. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Family hour will be 2:-3 p.m. before the service at the Church. Memorials can be made to First United Methodist Church, 201 S.
