Nancy Johnson Deyoub

NANCY JOHNSON DEYOUB, Ph.D., 62 passed away Feb. 7, 2013 after a long illness. She was married to Paul Deyoub for 40 years and she is the mother to Jessica Rousey and Benjamin Deyoub and a grandmother to one granddaughter. She leaves behind her brother Gerald Johnson, and her sisters Linda Hoover, Melissa Blocksom, Lois Ann Maxwell, Jerilyn Nighttraveller. Nancy was born the fifth of six children in Mercer, Penn. to Roger and Marie Johnson. She graduated from high school in 1968 and received her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Kentucky in 1976. She married Paul in graduate school on Feb. 17, 1973. She taught at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky and Paducah Community College in Ky. She was a psychologist at the Counseling Clinic in Benton, Arkansas and then in 1984 she was in private practice. She took and developed black and white photos, made jewelry, decorated cakes, and made hundreds of quilts. She will be missed beyond words by her family. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway Little Rock, Ark. (501)224-8300. Burial will follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens.
