B.P. Elmore, 94, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, February 25, 2013. He was born in Blue Mountain, Arkansas to Ralph and Bea Davis Elmore. He was a member of Levy Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II having served in the South Pacific. He is survived by his wife, of 72 years, Dorothy Dorsey Elmore; daughter, Charlotte Wise, of Sherwood; grandsons, Lance Black (Jodi) of Cabot, Mark Elmore (Melissa), of San Antonio, Texas and Paul Elmore, of Suwanne, Georgia; great-children, Makenzi Black, Claudia, Louis, Tabatha, Rebecca, Gideon, Isaac and Naomi Elmore; and sister Helen White, of Danville. He was preceded in death by his son, Gene Elmore; grandson, Michael Elmore, granddaughter, Lisa Black; son-in-law, Gene Wise; four brothers and three sisters. The family would like to thank the staff of Stonehaven Assisted Living of Maumelle and Arkansas Hospice for their loving care of B.P. Memorials may be made to Levy Baptist Church, 3501 Pike Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118 or Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Levy Baptist Church. A visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park.
