Daniel Eugene Still

Daniel Eugene Still, 91, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at Lakewood Nursing Home. He is the son of the late Henry W. Still and Ruby Manning Still of Sherman, Texas near where he was born June 4, 1921 in Grayson, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Emmalean Burgin Lawrence Still of North Little Rock; daughters, Janis Tidemann (Arlen) of Houston, TX, Danna Still of Sheridan, WY, and Kathy Iles (Johnny) of Shreveport, La.; one brother, Thomas Still, of Georgetown, Texas. Also by two stepsons, James H. Lawrence, Jr. (Lura) of Conway, AR and Jeff S. Lawrence (Cindy) of Pangburn, AR and four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Randy Still and his sister, Fannie Lee Still Knight. He was a retired institutional food salesman and was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. He served in the US Navy in World War II and was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400). Family visitation will be at the funeral home one hour before the service. Burial will be at Cato Historic Church and Cemetery in Northern Pulaski County, Ark.
