Vivian Ewell Morrow

VIVIAN EWELL MORROW, 77, who retired Sergeant of the Jacksonville Police Department, passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2013. Born Sept. 11, 1935, Bakersfield, Calif., formerly from Modesto, Calif. Vivian moved to Arkansas to become a Law Enforcement Officer. She started as a certified EMT and soon attended the Arkansas Law Enforcement Academy with aspirations of working in the juvenile department, speaking for the youth and families of Jacksonville. She is survived by her three children, Michael Morrow of Las Vegas, Nev., Julie Mara of North Little Rock, Ark., and her youngest, Gregory Morrow of Jacksonville. She has three grandchildren, Grey Morrow, Harrison Mara and Georgia Mara. Vivian was known to never meet a stranger, so she leaves many loyal and caring friends who will miss her and her voice. A service will be held at Arkansas Funeral Care in Jacksonville, Ark. from 3–5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice Homecare of Little Rock.
