Martha Lyon Graham

Martha Lyon Graham, 95, passed away peacefully January 26, 2013. Martha is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Jeff, giving her the opportunity to again proudly say "Jeff and myself". She is survived by daughter, Sandra Case; son-in-law, David; grandchildren Kristi and David; and great-grandchildren, Caroline, Will and Maddie McGibbony and Dakota Case. Martha's favorite saying in recent years was "I have had a GOOD life", and she did. Martha was very social and enjoyed her friends, especially the "Birthday Girls." Every friend could expect a call on their birthday. She was an active volunteer, serving as PTA president of every school her daughter attended. Martha was a member of Second Baptist Church for over 60 years and taught Sunday School there for many years. After the nest was empty, she joined Jeff at Terminix for 22 years. She and Jeff always had a huge garden, giving away much of the bounty while still filling three freezers with vegetables each season. Martha resided at Chenal Heights Nursing and Rehab for the last 4 1/2 years where she was proudly known as the "Hall Walker". Thank you to the wonderful staff for making her life happy and busy. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home 13801 Chenal Parkway Little Rock (501) 224-8300. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 30th, with Brother James Thomason officiating. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Cemetery in Warren, Ark.
