Ronald Eugene "Bud" Freeman went to be with the Lord on July 4th, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, sister and infant son. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eunice Ahart Freeman, daughter, Sonya Bridges and son in-law, Tommy, son, Greg Freeman, son, Tim Freeman and daughter-in-law Martha, daughter, Tammy Boyce and son in-law Marcus; four granddaughters, three grandsons and one great-grandson, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Bud retired from Entergy (AP&L) after 20 years and continued his life work volunteering his time at Indian Hills Elementary, where he was parent of the year and won an honorary award for the district. He was also a care giver for his mother in-law, Etna Ahart. His favorite past times were fishing, drinking coffee with his buddies at the Waffle House and spending time with his brother in laws. Funeral services will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock on Monday, July 8th 2013 at 10 a.m. with visitation starting at 9 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Bayou Meto Cemetery and will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Riddle of Eagle Point Church. www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
