Conrad A. Desilets

Conrad Anders Desilets, 79, of Higden, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013. He was born in Escanaba, Mich. on May 13, 1934 to the late Conrad Lionel and Lillian Anderson Desilets. Mr. Desilets was a lifelong member of the Roman Catholic Church and attained order of the Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus. He was retired from the United States Air Force and served honorably in the Vietnam War. Those left to mourn his passing are his wife, JoBess Dieckmann Desilets of Higden; four daughters, Connie Clough and husband, Robb, of Las Vegas, Nev., Chris Stevens and husband, Gary, of La Mirada, Calif., Carolyn Embry and husband, Ted, of Powell Butte, Ore., and Cathy Donato and husband, Joe, of Las Vegas, Nev.; five grandchildren, Adam, Marc, Lisa, Danielle and Michael; six great-grandchildren, Luke, Samantha, Kennedy, Ashby, Andrew and Seth. He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Joanne Servant Desilets; and great-grandchild, Jackson. A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date in Las Vegas. Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
