Serla Williams Cockerham

Serla (Williams) Cockerham, 96, of Sibley, La., died on June 7, 2013. Born to Hugh and Elena Williams in Sweet Home Community, Prattsville, Ark., on May 21, 1917; she married Robert "Rocky" Cockerham on June 28, 1947. Survived by three daughters: Kathleen (Pat) Clendenin of Sibley, La.; Gay (Freddie) Davis of DeLeon, Texas; and Becky (Darren) Ervin of Odessa, Texas; three brothers: Tola, Hollis (Evelyn), and Phillip (Wilma) Williams; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three sisters: Irene Mitchell, Buris Auldridge, and Geraldine Lovelady. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 22, at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to SHMBC, Prattsville, AR 72129.
