Henry Harry Eagles

HENRY HARRY EAGLES, 73, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013. He was born March 15, 1940, in Tucker, Ark., to the late Dan and Lucille Eagles. He was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Pulaski County Special School District and played Semi-Pro ball for the Pirates. He is a member of the Arkansas Softball Hall Of Fame and retired from softball in 2007. He was a member of Abate District 1. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sylvia Robbins Eagles; his God children, Hayle and Savannah and their parents, Dale and Ginger Sanford, all of Little Rock; five brothers, Dan Eagles of Kansas, Morsie, Johnny, Robert and Bennie Eagles of Little Rock; three sisters, Stella Dodsen of Lonoke, Louise Eagles, and Gladys Coleman of Little Rock; two special friends, Sam and Connie Jarvis of Little Rock; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, and his beloved little dog, Izzie. Visitation will be held at Little Rock Funeral Home, Monday, June 17 from 12 noon–7 p.m. and family will greet friends from 5–7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, with graveside services at Roselawn Memorial Park, 2801 Asher Avenue, Little Rock, Ark. 72204, (501) 663-0248.
