BARBARA MARIE BOYD, 73, of Jacksonville, died Saturday, May 4, 2013. She was born September 28, 1939, in Judsonia to the late Lawrence Edmon and Naomi Mae Patterson Lenoard. Mrs. Boyd was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville for 60 years and worked for the Pulaski County School District for 35 years as a book keeper. She was a member of the Jacksonville Cabot Real Estate Council and the North Pulaski Board of Realtors as well as a licensed hair dresser and cosmetologist. Mrs. Boyd was a loving mother and "Nana." In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy and Wayne Lenoard. Mrs. Boyd is survived by her children, Dr. Craig Boyd of Cabot and Alana Boyd Elsasser of Los Angeles; three sisters, Shirley Williams (Junior) of Jacksonville, Marsha Rainwater (Bob) and Sandra Brooks, all of Branson, Mo.; six grandchildren, Erica, Tristan, Madison and Mikayla Boyd, and Annalise and Olivia Elsasser; and a host of nieces and nephews. The Boyd family would like to thank all of Mrs. Boyd's caregivers and a special thanks to Lenora Pine for her care. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville with Reverend Mark McDonald officiating with entombment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park under the direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
